It’s hard to believe that Lent is basically at our door! Just like Advent, it’s time to get our ducks in a row and plan the 40 days out for our family and homeschools. Seems like everyone has been busy looking for Lent activities these past few weeks as it has become the most popular post here on Raising (& Teaching) Little Saints! If you missed it, here is last year’s post on Lent Activities for Children.
In addition, I found some new ideas from other Catholic Blogging Mamas that you might be interested in:
- Mama Kimberly at Catholic Family Vinettes has a great share with pocket-sized Stations of the Cross.
- Mama Karen at Karen Edmisten shares a list of ideas on Making Lent Meaningful
- Over at Catholic Culture, there is a list of Lent activities and ideas, hop on over and take a look.
- Over at Domestic Church, they have a list of links that you might be interested in with tons of ideas.
- Mama Lisa over at CatholicMom.com has a nice list of ideas as well.
- Mama Laura at Four Little Monkeys has a cool homemade Crown of Thorns Lenten wreath.
- Of course, DO NOT pass up joining Holy Heroes and their Lenten Adventure!
If you have a post on your blog and would like to share it, please leave a message here! I’d love to do an updated post with more ideas from our readers.
Thank you for following Raising (& Teaching) Little Saints! Visit us again soon!
Thanks for posting all these helpful links for Lent. I'm working right down to the wire on this year's Lenten practice
or at least part of it). I will be posting soon…
I am also hosting my FIRST linky ever at Equipping Catholic Families…for LENT…would you pop over and join in? Thanks!
Thanks Monica, of course I would love to! Blessings!
